Born in Edson, Alberta several years ago, Kevin attended Niton Central School until 1984. He attended Red Deer College in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, transferring to the University of Calgary in 1987. He graduated from the U of C in 1989 with a B.F.A., with a drawing and sculpture double major. He attended the U of C in the B.Education After-Degree program, graduating in 1991. He began his career with the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division in the fall of 1991 at Wildwood School. In 1992, Kevin transferred to Jubilee Junior High, completing 8 years of service. Kevin has been at Parkland Composite High School since 2000, teaching Art, Photography, Social Studies, and General Psychology. He intends on staying at Parkland "until they have to take my dusty skeleton off my desk."
